Dr. Angela Genge – Neuro XXceptional

Neurologist Dr. Angela Genge is the Director of the ALS Clinic and the Clinical Research Unit at The Neuro. Dr. Genge has been awarded the YWCA Woman of Distinction Award in Science and Technology for her exceptional contributions to patient care and innovative research, as well as the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal. She has launched a Global Centre of Excellence for ALS Research and Patient Care at The Neuro.

Neuro XXceptional is a celebration and recognition of the achievements of these exceptional women. Join us as we delve into the inspiring world of these women – nurses, doctors, neuroscientists, young students who are on the front-line of advancing treatments for diseases including Parkinson’s, ALS, and stroke, and exploring the mechanics of memory, music, decision-making and language in the brain.
